Harvested sweet potatoes from the garden today. We dug two 5 gallon buckets of orange and gold tubers. This harvest will provide us with great eating throughout the winter months. Ever eat sweet potato pie? It's even richer and tastier than pumpkin pie. Sweet potatoes are an excellent source of vitamins. I'm excited about the abundant resource organically grown in my backyard.
